Project: Kid-Friendly Luxury

Location: San Francisco, CA

What began as a traditional and loosely defined main level of a stately Pacific Heights home became something far more alive. Working through the full floor — dining room, entry, and living spaces along Divisadero — HOMEWORK transformed a series of disconnected rooms into a cohesive, flowing environment built equally for entertaining and everyday family life.

The design balances artfulness with function. Handmade art and industrial design objects — credenzas, tables, mirrors, and collected pieces — give the home a layered, gallery-like quality, while every material and furniture choice was made with real life in mind: kids, dogs, dinner parties, and lazy Sunday mornings all accounted for.

The result is a Pacific Heights interior that feels genuinely inhabited — not staged. Exciting without being precious, and polished without being untouchable.
